Facebook: How to Create the Best Facebook Page

As mentioned on https://www.britannica.com/topic/Facebook by Mark Hall, Facebook began at Harvard University in 2003 as Facemash, an online service for students to judge the attractiveness of their fellow students. Because the primary developer, Zuckerberg, violated university policy in acquiring resources for the service, it was shut down after two days. Despite its mayflylike existence, 450 people (who voted 22,000 times) flocked to Facemash. That success prompted Zuckerberg to register the URL http://www.thefacebook.com in January 2004. He then created a new social network at that address with fellow students Saverin, Moskovitz, and Hughes.
It is widely known that Facebook was founded by in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, all of whom were students at Harvard University. In beginning phase, the Facebook (American company) offered for online social networking services. Nearly two decades later, Facebook has changed dramatically and become one of the largest social network (platform) in the world having five billions active users. Despite deleting one million accounts per day, more than half of that number is using Facebook every day. As this consequence, this is available as biggest mass holding network/social media of the world. The headquarters of Facebook are in Menlo Park, California, USA. Therefore, the Facebook is increasing its expansion in Nepal also due to well user policy, good governance, user friendly accessibility and attractive features. However; this article mainly deals with possible confusions regarding Facebook page and its creation as well as complete set up.
Facebook page: short introduction
Facebook page is quite different but an additional part of facebook user. There are many similarities between a facebook page and personal facebook profile. But the Facebook page cannot create without existence of personal facebook profile. 5. Cover photo and profile picture: After creating name and description, select a catchy image from your computer/mobile gallery and upload it as profile photo. 6. Location: In location, proper geographical address of page’s basic service/admin city is added. Likewise, street address, ZIP code and name of country can also be given.

b. No hours: If no hour is checked, hour option removes from your page; visitors do not see hours in page.
c. Permanently closed: if you want to notify your customers that giving services through this page, if page is going to closed forever, this option is useful. However; this is not longer necessary due to having page delete option on page also. So you may delete the page or set permanently closed option from service hour.
d. Open on selective hours: This option is very useful for official pages. In this option, everyone can define own hours when the services open and close. Eg, banking hours are defined from 10:00 to 17:00 except public holiday and Saturday; hotels are opened from 6:00 to 23:00 of the day. a. Temporarily closed: If the services are previously run and will soon but not opened now, temporarily closed mark is best. Certain shop, tracking, etc are such in categories.

14. Privacy policy: In the context of Nepal, facebook page has not been controlled by authority and law. Impressum, legal actions are described in this field. 16. Additional information: This is large field which looks like a post creation box where we can write up to 50,000 characters. All things are not possible to express on description. Some important things which to be dropped on additional information section of page. So it is information of your page which optionally allows adding almost related information of the page.
17. Product: Product option offers to list your services/products within 2000 characters limitation. As its nature, ambiguities terms and notices can be well explained under this category as phrases. The description provides only nearly 255 characters but product option facilitates up to 900% more.
18. QR code: QR code, quick response code is an auto generated code which helps to get your page by scanning through mobile. So this code is useful to share for audience/followers growing. On the other sense, it is good instead of typing long name and correct words on search bar. So download generated code of the page and send it to friends. Invite option has to be also equally used to gain good wishes on page.
19. Other account: Blogger may have social media profile such as twitter, instagram, etc. to link these profiles on blog; other account is beneficial for all. Linked profiles are also removable by clicking on remove button which is located at just below of add button.
20. Action: Whatever page admin wants to do in his/her page, every action is available in there. When we click on action button of the facebook page, we get live, like, follow, invite, create page, etc. for instance, if an admin is going to start/host live, he/she click on his page, then go to action option and press live button.
21. Actor selector: Through this option, a page admin change his/her role; either interacting as page admin or as normal visitor of page. This means how to interact on page’s activities (me or page’s name).
22. Post: Post is vital substance for every page and account also. Final aim is post into page. Post may shorter and longer as it’s lengthy. Whatever is written to express our ideas on social media, these are called post. Facebook status is also post. But everywhere has boundaries to utilize and expand our numbers of characters.
